Sugar Rush Sugar Rush is what I would call the British love child of The L Word and South of Nowhere. It’s the story of Kim, a sixteen-year-old who is balancing moving to a new town, living with her kooky family and dealing her huge crush on Sugar, her best friend. I think it’s one of the most entertaining television shows to feature a queer or questioning teen and is very emotionally resounding at that.
