Queer Media 101 (Part 5- I'm Here I'm Queer What the Hell Do I Read?)
This blog gives reviews of pretty much every Young Adult (YA)/Teen book that has any positive representation of LGBT/queer youth. It is great because it has a list on the side, and breaks it down into what kind of person is featured and what type of role they have in the book. Although it focuses on the high school age range, it is a great resource for anyone looking for a book to read, who wants to see some affirmation of LGBT people when they read.
Check Out: GSA Mondays, Lee’s Vlog (I don’t know about this because I haven’t watched it, but apparently he has a YouTube channel or something.)
Tip: Read. It improves your vocabulary and makes you literate. Also, it’s totally hot to have a conversation that’s actually intelligent and isn’t just small talk.
